The Bachelor Is Down to Two

Yet another poor gal is out of the running to get engaged to Brad Womack

Now this is where it gets kinda sickening.

Brad Womack dismissed a would-be fiancée for the final time on Monday—not including the aspiring Mrs. Womack who's going to get her heart smashed (or dodge a bullet, depending on your view) when he doesn't pop the question in two weeks.

But first off Womack flew to South Africa with Ashley Hebert, Emily Maynard and Chantal O'Brien for three individual dates and—for the first time—nights spent in the Fantasy Suite...

When confronted with the first invite to the Fantasy Suite, which in her case turned out to be a tree house in the middle of the bush, Chantal jumped at the chance after a day that included a jungle safari.

"I think I don't want any more dinner," she said, standing up and taking Brad by the hand.

OK then.

The next day it was was Emily's turn to rock Brad's world—which, after they rode an elephant together, she did by finally telling him she was falling in love with him. And he told her the same thing. (Remember, no one ever says "I love you" before the final rose ceremony. They're always in the process of falling in love until the 11th hour.)

But then it looked as if Emily was going to maintain the good-girl routine and decline a trip to the suite, where Chris Harrison said they could be free to "stay as a couple."

"You know I'm a mom," she began, "and I want to set a good example for her...

"So we can go to the suite and 'just talk,' " she concluded.

OK then.

Brad's third date was with Ashley, and they took a romantic helicopter ride, followed by dinner.

But she threw him for a loop when she voiced qualms about his whole "I'm looking for a wife" thing, while she felt how normal people do—that she felt a spark and wanted to keep getting to know him.

Well, that wouldn't do for him, and Brad dismissed Ashley before the rose ceremony. (Oh, but they totally went to the Fantasy Suite.)

"So that's that?" he asked as she stood up.

"I don't know what you want me to say, I'm not going to beg you to change your mind," she said.

"No, I don't want you to beg me," Brad said (though he probably did).

Next week, all the women return to talk smack about each other, and we can hear what Michelle has to say after getting a little distance between her and what we hope was her lowest hour.
