Is Hailee Steinfeld a little wunderkind or what?

While hitting the red carpet at the Oscars, the 14-year-old Best Supporting Actress nominee, who ultimately lost out to The Fighter's Melissa Leo, dished to Ryan Seacrest about what it's like to be up for that little golden statue at such a young age and how she mentally prepared herself for the show:

"Honestly, it's crazy. I try not to analyze it too much because it freaks me out," the True Grit star revealed. "I haven't thought about it too much. I think for me, I'm here. I mean, that's my award. I can't ask for anything else."

And when asked the all important who-are-you-wearing question, the budding actress revealed that she actually designed her one of a kind Marchesa frock!

"When I found out I was getting the opportunity to come here I drew something out and this is like, exactly what I had in mind," Steinfeld said.
