Andrew Garfield is perfect for Spider-Man.

Who says?

Well, we do! But so does the man whose opinion really matters…

"Looks just perfect to me," comic book legend Stan Lee says of the recently released pic of Garfield in the Spidey suit. "How he manages to look so young, I wish he'd teach me the secret."

Garfield may be 27 years old, but he's actually playing a teenage Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the much-anticipated reboot of the Sony movie franchise.

Lee's happy the studio didn't resort to simply replacing Tobey Maguire. "I think the viewers might have trouble with that," Lee said at the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel. "But if you go back to Spider-Man as a teenager and you get a different actor, it might be that the audience will accept that more readily."

Meanwhile, Spider-Man costar Emma Stone is as impressed as we are by Garfield's freshly minted superhero physique. "He looks amazing in the suit," she gushed.

About those biceps he's showing off in the new issue of Details magazine, Stone gushed some more, "Not too shabby, right?"

We couldn't agree more.
