"There's a lot more to the Camille, Kelsey tale than what's being reported out there," explains a frustrated friend close to K.G.
Oh, do tell then!
"Their marriage was over years before he met Kayte [Walsh]" dishes our source.
Kayte is Kelsey's current fiancée and the reason why he's trying to get a quickie divorce from Camille.
Considering the soon-to-be former Mrs. Grammer said she and Kelsey soon "lost the desire" to have sex quickly after they married, we think it would be pretty obvious to both parties that their relationship would be downhill from there.
"She was all about money, money, money the entire time they were married," adds the source. "Kelsey had given up on love. His marriage was just like another business venture, but then he met Kayte and fell for her right away."
Our insider also confirms that despite the fact Kelsey is currently battling it out with Camille in court over, uh, money (they didn't have a prenup), Walsh offered to sign one. But it's not going to happen.
"Kayte loves him, she doesn't care about money. Kelsey's the one who said no to a prenup."
But back to Camille. Adds Team Kels:
"Think about it, if you let your husband go off and live in New York for a year, as is portrayed on the show, and you never went to visit him, can you really blame him for straying? It takes two to break up a marriage. She's played the 'Kelsey cheated' card enough."
Ideally it would have been nice if Kelsey Grammer divorced before getting it on with Kayte while married, we will totally give Camille that.
