And now while you collect yourselves from the awesomeness that is Sofia Vergara in a red tracksuit (who knew her "vulumpshusness" could be contained!?), this just in from head honcho Kevin Reilly: He promises that the longtime Glee fans will dig the Super Bowl episode, because it's not (holler!) gimmicky.
"I think it will be a really great episode of Glee," Reilly told reporters. "I hope it'll have a halo effect. It's actually not a stunt episode, it's an enhanced production. Ryan [Murphy] did some very big numbers in it. It's going to look fantastic. It might look like a little more like a spectacle, but it is a character-based, regular episode of Glee. There's no stunt involved."
Hear that, all you guest-star haters? Speaking of, though, Gwyneth Paltrow is definitely returning. She told our Ryan Seacrest today that she'll be back shooting again on the set soon. So see, everyone wins. Except maybe Naya Rivera's hairstylist.
