The Social Network, Toy Story 3

Columbia Pictures; Disney/Pixar

With one accolade after another, we were starting to think The Social Network was the only film whose "like" button was being pushed.

But it seems Toy Story 3 has a friend in the review-compiling site Rotten, which has bestowed its annual Golden Tomato Award on the popular animated movie over that flick about Facebook.

The honor is based on the fact that Toy Story 3, according to the site, received more favorable reviews by critics—99 percent—than any other piece of cinema in wide release in 2010, including The Social Network, which nevertheless racked up a very impressive score of 97 percent.

The films' respective PR teams have been battling over the designation in various "for your consideration" ads.

True Grit, meanwhile, didn't trail too far behind. The Coen brothers' Western starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon had a 95 percent Tomatometer rating, which, incidentally, is the same score nabbed by the acclaimed drama The King's Speech.

But, alas, for every Toy Story 3, there's a Vampires Suck, which walked away with the Moldy Tomato Award for only receiving 4 percent in positive reviews.

By reviewers we assume are no longer employed.
