Whatever it was, Nicolas Cage (or someone who bears a remarkable resemblance) totally lost his cool early Sunday morning outside a Romanian nightclub and went off on bystanders in a blowup that's since gone viral on YouTube.
Send the young'uns out of the room and get ready for some choice Cage-isms...
"Get in that car and walk away. I'll f--king die because of honor. I'll f--king die right now," screamed the 46-year-old Ghost Rider. "See my eyes—respect them as you'd respect me."
In town filming the sequel to the comic book caper, Cage had reportedly been partying with friends and crewmembers when he unleashed the expletive-filled rant at a man and two women. Eventually, his bodyguard stepped in and defused the situation, getting him into a car that sped away.
Calls to Cage's rep were not immediately returned.
No word what set him off but the footage, recorded by a witness's cell phone camera, ended up making the local news.
Of course, Cage rage is nothing knew—in fact, a viral video compilation of all the thesp's greatest movie meltdowns that hit the Web a few weeks ago has since tallied more than 1.5 million views.
No doubt, we'll be seeing those Cage/Christian Bale/Mel Gibson-inspired mashups any day now.
And that would make a dandy Christmas present.
