Rosie O'Donnell is staying Beat-poet cool under pressure.

The off-and-on talk-show host revealed yesterday—in a free-form poem posted on her blog—that doctors found a lump in each of her breasts last week and she is currently awaiting the results from her biopsies.

"beautiful facility/truly/a 5 star hotel lobby/employees right out of greys anatomy," O'Donnell writes of her procedure.

"another MRI a mammogram and sonogram/in between each/back to the waiting area/my favorite part of the whole thing," she continues. "silent women in washed out robes/blue, green, occasionally striped/all sullen faced—stoic—numb/not really there at all."

O'Donnell, 48, also mentions that her mother died of breast cancer at 39, so doctors are always particularly vigilant with her due to her family history.

"i had my first lump removed at 30/thumb sized fatty tissue/i went alone/i was living in los angeles," she recalls.

O'Donnell's rep tells E! News they're hoping for the best and hope to have the results by Thursday.
