Here's one look that needs to slither away for a while.

At least in Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne's eyes. Her cohorts Joan and Giuliana disagree...

Snake jewelry's wrapped itself around celebrity bodies for years now. It's recently been seen around Paris Hilton's neck and Julianne Moore's arm. And even Angelina Jolie—who designed a serpent-inspired line for Asprey with her better-half, Brad—wore one of the bracelets at the Salt premiere.

Sure, it gives a cool and slightly sinister edge to otherwise fancy pieces, but can we give it a rest?

We're not expecting the trend to disappear—like bell bottoms or shoulder pads, these reptile-themed pieces are gonna rear their heads every 20 years.

But it's time to try something new. How about shining the spotlight on another creature from the animal kingdom, like the armadillo or, if you're feeling dangerous, the mongoose. We're sure they'd appreciate the exposure.
