When True Blood hottie Joe Manganiello met fiancée Audra Lee, it wasn't exactly puppy love for him.
But it wasn't the Brit model-actress he was unsure about...it was her two dogs that made him hesitate.
"I had some really bad experiences with other people's dogs before I met her, and I swore—you make that list of things you want out of a relationship or out of a partner, and one of them was huge bold letters No Pets!" he told me yesterday at the Dsquared2 and Yoox.com's launch for canine couture collars.
Why was the big buff guy so against furry friends?
"I had this dog bite me in the face and it was a mess," he explained. "But her dogs are so sweet and nice and so cute. I love them. They won me over."
The happy couple (and their pets, presumably) are currently enjoying their engagement.
"We're just having a great time being engaged," he said. "We're just loving it."
The two have a busy Halloween weekend planned. Joe is hosting parties in San Diego, San Francisco and Atlantic City.
And acting isn't his only talent. He recently deejayed...at a Pinkberry opening!
"I used to deejay in college and my friends own Pinkberry," he told me of the seemingly random event. "They were opening a new store in San Jose and they asked me to come up and spin."
And even supercut werewolves with chiseled bodies don't always skip dessert.
"I love Pinkberry!" he told me. "I can cheat once a week and that was definitely my cheat."
