Looks like Kara DioGuardi won't be collecting unemployment.

The ex-American Idol judge, who was forced out by producers after just two seasons with the show, has signed up to break down songwriting contestants as the head judge on a new Bravo songwriting competition, the network has announced.

So what will the new show be like?

Previously announced as Hitmakers, the show is now called Going Platinum, and it will follow the network's patented Top Chef-style format: 12 unknowns will go head-to-head writing songs in different genres (dance, ballads, hip-hop, etc.), with the winner scoring a $100,000 top prize and deal with a music company.

Jewel will also be on the judging panel, along with a music exec. Going Platinum is set to air in 2011 and run 10 episodes.
