Katy Perry is a diva? Well, come Dec. 5, when she leads the pack of singers rounded up for this year's VH1 Divas concert, she will be.

Even stranger, the crop this year will include just as many divos.

Continuing her full-scale assault on the small screen this fall (Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, American Music Awards, the inevitable wall-to-wall coverage of her impending wedding), Perry is the biggest name set to perform on the annual show, which this year will be dedicated to those serving in the armed forces.

Joining her for VH1 Divas Salute the Troops are Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, Paramore and Sugarland.

And while Jennifer Nettles can no doubt hold her divalicious own, Sugarland is a two-person outfit, so Kristian Bush better get in touch with his inner divo, and quick (ditto Hayley Williams' all-male musical accompaniment).

Incidentally, four of the acts will be performing at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, though Paramore will be conducting their session from a Marine base in the Middle East.

Judging by these gals' behavior, it may be time to stop thinking of a diva as a bad thing.
