Looks like this guy won't be modeling pinstripes.

Richard Hilfiger, the 20-year-old son of famed fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and wannabe Ali G, will not face charges stemming from his August pot bust in Hollywood.

It helps to have a doctor's note!

Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney, tells E! News that prosecutors declined to pursue charges against Hifiger because the amount of marijuana found in the car he was a passenger in "was less than half a pound."

The tattooed heir to the Hifiger fortune, an aspiring rapper who likes to go by the handle Rich Hil, was pulled over in July while cruising Sunset Boulevard. Officers searched his vehicle, found the ganja and booked him.

"For us to file a felony, it has to be a half pound or more and it was less than that," said Robison. "And we also rejected filing a misdemeanor charge because he had a legitimate letter from his doctor for medical marijuana."
