Fresh off his season-five win and his on-camera proposal to his girlfriend, Michael's streak of good fortune just keeps on keepin' on...
Michael's win on America's Got Talent brought in a record number of votes, which led to today's announced record deal in addition to his $1 million prize. Currently, this self-described "boy from Mississippi" is headlining the America's Got Talent live tour. Michael plans to release his album in March 2011.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if America will put its money where its votes are.
