Kelly McGillis and Girlfriend Tie the Knot!

Actress weds longtime partner Melanie Leis in New Jersey civil ceremony

She might've seduced Tom Cruise back in 1986 on Top Gun, but now the time has come where actress Kelly McGillis gets her special someone.

And then some.

The New York Times reports the actress wed her longtime girlfriend Melanie Leis in a civil union on Wednesday in New Jersey.

The couple met 10 years ago(!) when Leis was an employee of a restaurant McGillis owned with her second hubby, Fred Tillman.

McGillis remembers "coming out" when she told the New York Times, "That was one of those moments when somebody asked me a question, my kids had gone from home, so I really didn't have to protect anyone by skirting the question, and I just decided to be absolutely honest."

Honesty is not only the best policy, it's the only way to start a marriage. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
