This bachelorette probably wouldn't mind trading her rose for some legal aid right now.

E! News has learned that Maribel Delgado, who won love and a proposal from pro bass fisherman Byron Velvick in the sixth season of ABC's The Bachelor, was collared early Thursday morning for drunk driving.

Delgado, 42, was behind the wheel in her hometown of Tampa, Florida when she was pulled over by a police cruiser at about 12:45 a.m.. Suspecting she had been drinking, officers sought to administer a Breathalyzer, which the two-time Bachelor contestant subsequently refused.

As a result, Delgado was taken into custody and booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. She was released at 10 a.m. after posting a $500 cash bond.

The Cuban-born former Tampa Bay Bucaneers cheerleader, who goes by Mary,  graced both the fifth and sixth season of The Bachelor before Velvick chose her. And unlike a lot of made-for-TV couples, the two remained together, though never married.

But this isn't the first time Delgado's penchant for booze has landed her on police blotters.

In November, 2007 she was arrested in Tampa for battery after punching her fiancé in the mouth during an argument while under the influence. The following November she was busted for getting into a drunken row and then tussling with cops at a Del Rio, Texas nightclub.

She and Velvick split in 2009.
