Simon Monjack's cause of death is turning out to be even more similar to wife Brittany Murphy's passing than it first appeared to be.

While last month preliminary findings determined the 40-year-old succumbed to acute pneumonia and severe anemia, the Los Angeles County Coroner released its complete autopsy report today.

In the end, community-acquired acute bronchopneumonia is listed as the cause that took Monjack's life, a rapidly-onset inflammation of the lungs typically caused by a bacterial infection. Murphy's primary cause of death was also community-aquired pneumonia.

Cardiomegaly with focal myocardial fibrosis is listed as another condition on Monjack's autopsy report, which, simply put, is an abnormal thickening of the heart walls and valves.

The manner of death was determined to be natural, and while blood toxicology tests revealed that multiple medications were present in Monjack's system, according to the report, "all these drugs were detected at therapeutic or sub-therapeutic levels and most likely did not contribute to death."

Monjack is buried alongside Murphy in Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Memorial Park. He passed away on May 23, just five months after his wife's tragic death on Dec. 20.
