It's black, it's white... Alice + Olivia's Tessa dress ($396) that is. But does it look better in dark or light?

Maria Menounos tried to edge up her white version with Camilla Skovgaard bandage sandals at an Omega VIP dinner at the Ritz Carlton. A for effort, but she should've continued the look with a smoky eye and fiercer accessories.

Weeks later at a Lia Sophia Lanaya II collection preview, Stacy Kiebler kept in line with the Grecian feel of the dress by accessorizing with glowing skin, a gold belt and a Lia Sophia gold bracelet. The nude peep-toes only enhanced her already ridiculously long legs. The result? Pure goddess.

But our fave was America Ferrera at the Illusionist premiere in Scotland. The dark color was incredibly flattering, the belt showed off her figure, her slick straight hair didn't overpower the one-shoulder design and snakeskin Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes added the just the right amount of spice.
