ABC's heavily hyped Bachelor reunion interview, airing July 5, will find Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi facing off over what went wrong with their reality romance. Highlights include his former fiancé calling him a "fame whore," among other unsavory smackdowns.
Speaking of which, did you hear about the Playboy spread she may be doing? More on that in a second.
First, back to the sit-down. In a press release, the Alphabet network reveals more details about the upcoming showdown with the once-smitten couple, who trade barbs and get into a nasty game of he-said, she-said as they discuss who broke up with whom. Jake accuses Vienna of infidelity and selling him out for money, while she calls Jake "a liar" and the aforementioned "fame whore."
The verbal sparring apparently got so tense, Girardi reportedly burst into tears and stormed out of the interview.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor winner announced this week to Star magazine that she'll be posing nude in the July 12 issue of Playboy. The reason? Vienna claimed she was doing it because she needed the dough and the deal could pocket her up to $250,000.
"The Bachelor didn't pay me a dime, and I ran through my savings living with Jake," she said regarding her decision. "I need the money. And I want to do something fun and happy for myself!"
(Like burying her head in a man's crotch during a Spring Break excursion?)
Vienna better check the fine print. A rep for the men's magazine tells E! News, "This is the first we've heard of Vienna Girardi appearing on the cover of Playboy. We are not in negotiations with her and have not made her an offer."
Whoops.
How things have changed. After the series finale in March, when Jake chose the former Hooters girl over Tenley Molzahn, the lovebirds were said to be hard at work planning a beach wedding this summer. But as the Gulf Coast disaster has shown, oil and water don't mix.
After a fairy tale courtship, a rep for Pavelka, 32, and Girardi, 24, officially announced last week they were calling it quits.
