Céline Dion's diaper duty will go on...double time.
The 42-year-old Grammy winner is expecting twins with hubby and manager René Angélil, E! News has confirmed.
The pending delivery is a dramatic turnaround for the Canadian songbird, who has long struggled to become pregnant again. In November, she and Angelil made the sad disclosure that she was no longer pregnant, just months after joyously announcing that they were expecting their second child.
"We are full of confidence. Céline is more determined than ever," Angelil told the Journal de Montreal after Dion lost the baby. "Céline and I didn't get discouraged…we put our faith in life and in the stars."
The couple's persistence paid off.
After her sixth attempt at in vitro fertilization and accupuncture treatments to improve her chances of pregnancy, the My Heart Will Go On crooner discovered she was with child.
Dion currently is 14 weeks along, and will find out the sex of the babies next month.
Angelil, 68, and Dion wed in 1994 and are parents to 9-year-old son René-Charles, who was also conceived through in vitro fertilization.
