You know if this happened to Naomi Campbell, we'd have a bad case of street justice on our hands.

Instead, it was the unlucky Kate Moss whose London home was burgled around 4 a.m. Thursday. And before you go saying the rep-proceeding supermodel had it coming for being out partying when she should have been home and on guard, get this:

Moss, rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince and her mother were all asleep in the house when the break-in took place.

The trio did stir, and it's believed that their movement scared the robbers off, but not before making out like the bandits they were.

No crime of fashion, these sticky-fingered criminals weren't after Moss' designer duds, but rather her pricey art collection, as they made off with several pieces, including a portrait from guerrilla artist Banksy worth more than $115,000 (incidentally, two other Banksy works were also stolen from a London gallery earlier this month).

Britain's finest bobbies are already on the case, and have already made one arrest in connection with the art heist.

"Camden police are investigating a burglary at Greville Road, NW6, from approximately 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 20," said a police spokesman.

"A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is in custody at a north London police station."

First the unfortunate Courtney Love kiss-and-tell, then the soft-focused-beyond-recognizability TopShop commercial and now this? Not the best week for dear old Mossy.
