By now, we're pretty much all looking in our crystal balls and fearing that the end of what we thought was one of Hollywood's best love stories is imminent.

Things between America's sweetheart Sandra Bullock and her supposedly reformed bad boy Jesse James are lookin' rather rocky, at least from where we're sitting. She's already pulled out of the London premiere for The Blind Side and he's already pulled out of his Twitter account.

But it certainly hasn't always been this way. Here are five things you should know about their relationship...

Before the Buds: The Virginia native had been mostly unlucky in love, having a failed engagement to her Love Potion No. 9 costar Tate Donovan followed by relationships with football star Troy Aikman, musician Bob Schneider, Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling. The West Coast Choppers CEO didn't bat much better with failed marriages. James has two children with his first wife, Karla James, and one with his second, adult film star Janine Lindemulder.

When Sandy Met Jesse: He was a reformed juvenile delinquent and former college football star, she was Miss Congeniality, but in spring 2004, sparks flew both literally and figuratively on the set of Jesse's show, Monster Garage. She surprised her 10-year-old godson with a visit to the set, but he wasn't the only one whose heart was a-flutter that fateful day.

The Wedding: On July 15, 2005, the unlikely but heartwarmingly adorable pair tied the knot on a 300-acre ranch. As a testament to understanding and respecting each other's tastes, Sandy reportedly made Jesse's wedding band herself, using tools from his shop, while he relied on a vintage ring by Neil Lane.

All About Family: James continues to be in a heated custody battle with Lindemulder over their 6-year-old daughter, Sunny. Bullock has embraced Sunny as her own, even admitting she has put her career and any desires she may have of conceiving a child herself on hold in order to offer the kid as much stability as possible. We're sure Sandy was ecstatic when Jesse's missing pooch, Cinnabun, was found as well.

Award-Winning Duo: Just weeks ago, Jesse was the ultimate vision of an adoring husband and Sandy of the gracious wife. James had tears in his eyes as his girl accepted her Best Actress Oscar, while her speech thanking her mother for opening her eyes to "that" made him one of the most handsome men in the room.

Sadly, if the sordid cheating report in In Touch is true, as well as the People claim that she's packed up and left their home, "that" emotional moment may turn out to be yet another notch on the Best Actress Curse's belt.
