What's The Point?

So the bachelor got married but this is the first one that worked?

The Bachelor guy is all over the magazines because he got married.  I guess he is the first bachelor from the show to actually marry a girl from the show.  But the show has been on for so many seasons so what is up with that?  Obviously it doesn't work so well so maybe people should just stick to online dating.
