The camera is usually on Kim Kardashian, but she's stepping behind the scenes for The SPINdustry, a new special on E! that she produced about the world of celebrity PR with power publicists Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck of Command PR.

I just chatted with Kim, who's crazy busy at Fashion Week in NYC, about how she liked not being the star for once.

"I really liked being behind the scenes," she says. "It was very productive and just the fact that I came up with this concept and to see it come to life...I love behind-the-scenes work and I see myself doing that more."

But it's not always easy having Kim as your boss...

"Kim was a bossy boss!" Jonathan tells me of working for her. "She's demanding, but she does it with that incredible smile, so it's hard to argue with her!"

Simon is a bit more diplomatic. "I literally exist for Kim," he says.

And while the special focuses on an event they're doing for Mel B, Kim has a list of celebs she'd like to feature if the special turns into a series.

"Everyone from Tori Spelling to Mario Lopez," she says. "There's so many people I'd love to have on the show!"

As for which stars are Command's favorite to work with (besides Kim, obvi), Jonathan says Posh is tops.

"Victoria Beckam is a complete professional...not at all what you'd expect!" he tells me. "We did one of her first events in NYC and she had everyone on the floor laughing from start to finish. Full comedy! Diddy is the king of events, but will call you at 3 a.m. to ask you a question."

And in case you're wondering, Kim is on the special, but only makes a cameo.

"I'm briefly in it," she says. "If it goes to series, I don't think that will be the case."
