Either they're trying to keep plans for a third Bridget Jones movie totally top secret, or the film's two big stars really don't know anything about it.

Renée Zellweger told us in the fall that she hadn't heard of any plans to revisit her pleasantly plump British alter ego.

And now, Colin Firth, aka Mark Darcy, tells us...

"You got me," he said when we asked if we'd be seeing another B.J. flick.

Well, if there was, would he do it?

"There's no script," said Firth, who's been an awards season favorite this year for his work in first-time director Tom Ford's A Single Man. "So I don't know."

While we wait for another movie, we've got a possible run on Broadway to look forward to. A musical adaptation is in the works with Bridget Jones novelist Helen Fielding writing the book and lyrics.

A reading of the script reportedly took place last May in London.
