The Friday Night Lights starlet, 29, and the New York Yankees team captain, 35, may be keeping mum about their supposed engagement, but reports are swirling out of the park regarding a possible wedding in November at Oheka Castle, the same place Kevin Jonas tied the knot just a few weeks ago.
The New York Post claims the big day will be Friday, Nov. 5, just two days after the anticipated end of the World Series (if it goes to seven games). The sneaky reporters at the paper spotted the date marked "JETER wedding" listed on a calendar at the French chateau-inspired event venue.
Not surprisingly, the folks at Oheka Castle aren't talking.
"We never comment on any clients or guests at Oheka," Rick Bellando, wedding sales manager, tells E! News. However, he admits the venue is booked solid for the fall weekend in question.
Bellando was also the person who insisted to the Post reporter that they wouldn't put a celebrity's real name in their calendar at the risk of starting a major rumor.
But this one is looking more and more likely to be true—Long Island's Newsday also confirmed the upcoming nuptials through "a source with knowledge of the event's planning."
That said, NBC Sports is debunking the story, saying the reservation is actually for the baller's sister, Sharlee.
A New York wedding planner tells E! News Jeter and Kelly are definitely on the market for a coordinator.
“They reached out to me a little while ago but I was just too busy with another celebrity wedding and I only do one wedding at a time,” the planner says. “No details were discussed.”
