Anna Kendrick Starts a War Between Rob Pattinson & George Clooney

The Up in the Air star couldn't help but trigger a rivalry between her two dreamboat coworkers. So who came out on top?

Golden Globe nominee and Bella Swan bestie Anna Kendrick was lucky enough to work with both George Clooney and Robert Pattinson last year. In fact, "What was it like to work with Clooney and Pattz?! Ahhhh!" will probably be the question she's asked most this awards season. And that's cool, especially when she has great stories like the one she told on Ellen DeGeneres' show.

In an interview airing January 8, Anna goes on about how jealous George was of Rob.

"George gave me such a hard time about shooting Twilight. Whenever I came back, it was like, 'Oh, sorry, this isn't the Twilight set. You're not working with Mr. Handsome.' He called Rob 'Mr. Handsome.' "

So Anna got Mr. Handsome to autograph his April GQ cover for George. Since it seemed Clooney was having a hard time dealing with this newbie dreamboat, Pattz obliged with this encouraging message:

"To George: Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love, Rob."

Clooney, king of the jokes, returned the favor, signing his May 2009 Esquire cover to Rob with:

"Dear Rob: Thanks for all the inspiration. I'm a huge fan. Love, George (two-time Sexiest Man Alive)"

Oh, these actors—so funny and dreamy and perfect.

While Twilight swept the People's Choice Awards, Robert Pattinson was nowhere in sight. Sad. But check out who else was there in our Memorable Moments gallery.
