Nicole Kidman Brings Sunday—and Keith—to Work

She may have just given birth, but that didn't stop the Oscar winner from filming Nine

Filming Nine was a family affair for Nicole Kidman.

The Oscar winner had just given birth to her and Keith Urban's daughter, Sunday Rose, when she began work on director Rob Marshall's movie adaptation of the Broadway musical…

"She was excited to be part of a company and go back to work right away," Marshall tells us. "And her baby was on set with us. It was beautiful."

Urban was also on set.

"Keith just watched and had this big smile while holding the baby," choreographer John DeLuca says. "It was nice to have little Sunday Rose there."

Even if he is a huge country music star, Urban did not join in on the singing, nor did he offer up any of his expertise.

"Keith was always there, but he stepped back into the background," Marshall said. "He just steps back, which is really nice."
