How does one choose between Brad Pitt and Rosie O'Donnell?

We're not sure we know (or want to know), but at some point Angelina Jolie was faced with that conflict. At least, according to Rosie.

The talk-show icon blabbed to Howard Stern on Sirius XM radio about a time before she was married to Kelli Carpenter and Angelina had tied the knot with Billy Bob Thornton. A romance, she claimed, was a-bloomin'.

"She gave me her phone number," Rosie said. "We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through."

Fear got the best of Rosie and she wasn't able to seal the deal.

"I was a little afraid of her," she said. "She's scary in a sexual kind of way. I have dreams about her a lot still."

We'd say TMI, but our jaws are still on the floor.

The erstwhile Lara Croft isn't the only bone the flower picked during the interview. She also offered some insight into the rocky state of affairs of her marriage, as well as her thoughts on the relationship between Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.

As we discovered last week, things between Rosie and her wife since 2004 are less than, well, rosy. Together they have four children.

"We have come to a point where we are seeing [if] what will make everyone happiest is maybe to not live together, but continue to parent," she said. "We have different styles of living. I'm very messy. She's very not…I don't know that we're going to be together. I think we're working through what's best for all of us."

As for her thoughts on Oprah's relationship with her BFF, Rosie and Howard think there may be some sparks.

"I don't know that she and Gayle are necessarily doing each other," Rosie said, "but I think they are the emotional equivalent of…"

"A gay couple," the radio man finished.

"When they did that road trip, that's as gay as it gets, and I don't mean it to be an insult either," Rosie explained. "I'm just saying, listen, if you ask me, that's the couple."

Rosie Radio, the star's own daily morning talk show on Sirius, is set to launch Nov. 2.

If Rosie and Angie had gotten together, we probably wouldn't have this awesome Brad & Angelina Family Album. Now that would be a shame!
