Jake Paul Is Engaged to Olympian Jutta Leerdam

Boxer Jake Paul has moved on to a different kind of ring.

The 28-year-old—who beat Mike Tyson in a boxing match last year—recently proposed to his Dutch girlfriend Jutta Leerdam. "We’re engaged," Jake wrote on Instagram March 22, alongside photos of him proposing to the Olympic speedskater on a balcony overlooking lake. "We can’t wait to spend forever together."

Jake and Jutta, who won a silver medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, both wore white in the pics. The YouTuber proposed to his partner amid a display of white candles and roses. He got on one knee and presented the athlete with a large, oval-cut diamond engagement ring.

The bride-to-be, 26, shared the pics on her own page and also reposted a message on her Instagram Stories that read, "Find someone that makes you jump for joy," adding, "on heels hahahaha."

Jake and Jutta have been a couple for about two years. They began dating after he slid into her DMs and asked if she wanted to be on his podcast.

"And I was like, 'Okay, let’s do it. Can be good, can be nice,'" she said on the 2024 documentary Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson, per Olympics.com. "Of course, I didn’t know a lot about him. I could only scroll on his Instagram and form an opinion like the whole world does. But he is the complete opposite."

The two have supported each other in their careers. He has cheered her on at skating events, while she has supported him at his matches. In November, she joined him at his and Mike's livestreamed Netflix boxing match, which her now-fiancé won.

Jutta appears with Jake on the new Max original reality series Paul American, which centers around him and his brother, Logan Paul. The show also features the WWE star's fiancée, Danish supermodel Nina Agdal, who gave birth to their daughter Esmé Agdal Paul last September.

In the trailer, Jutta shared a key personality trait she and Jake have in common. "We both want to become champions," she says, adding, "We bring out the best in each other."
