Jesy Nelson is now a mum times two—after a terrifying pregnancy.

The Little Mix alum gave birth to her and boyfriend Zion Foster's identical twin daughters Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster more than two months early after being hospitalized since March for a complication that threatened the babies' lives. The preemies are currently being treated in the NICU.

"So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31weeks plus 5 days," Jesy wrote on her Instagram May 18, alongside photos of herself and Zion with their twins. "It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We’ve never felt more in love."

She continued, "Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster Born on 15.05.2025."

The couple had first shared their twin pregnancy news on Instagram in January with a polaroid of Zion cradling Jesy's baby bump.

During her pregnancy journey, the “Boyz” singer was also candid about the difficulties she had faced. In a March 5 Instagram video with Zion, Jesy explained their babies were monochorionic-diamniotic twins, meaning they shared a placenta, which could lead to "lots of complications."

"One of them being, one baby might take all the nutrients," the singer said, "which, really awful to say, could lead to both babies dying. At the moment, I am currently pre stage TTS, which is Twin-to-Twin Transfusion [Syndrome], and I'm being monitored very closely."

Due to her high-risk pregnancy, the music artist was made to undergo twice-weekly scans. "The current situation that we're in at the moment is that every time I've gone," she added, "it's got a little bit worse."

And it soon did. Days later, Jesy revealed that she was hospitalized after a checkup after experiencing worse symptoms and was getting ready to undergo a procedure.

"It's necessary," she said in a March 8 Instagram video with Zion, "because it's going to give our babies like the best chance of surviving."

Weeks later, the couple shared a positive update. "The TTS has cleared up," Jesy said in a March 30 Instagram video with her boyfriend. "The operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible."

Jesy, who departed Little Mix in 2020 after nine years with the X Factor-created group, is just the latest member to expand their family—or have twins. Indeed, the remaining trio, Perrie EdwardsJade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been on hiatus as Perrie and Leigh-Anne welcomed their own little ones with days of one another in 2021.

Perrie welcomed son Axel, 3, with soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Leigh-Anne is mom to 3-year-old twin girls with husband Andre Gray.

As for Jade, she stood by their side through their pregnancies, even helping them hide their baby bumps during the taping of their “Confetti” music video. After all, she promised to Glamour UK in 2021 that she planned to “be the best auntie I can be.”

And now they have a new mom to welcome into their mix. But Jesy—who has been linked to Zion since at least 2022—did not always picture herself having children. She reshared a 2021 Glamour UK interview to social media saying, “I’m not a kid person, it’s just not in me,” to which she responded by flipping to her baby bump and writing, "That aged well."
