Jason Wahler’s family is entering a new chapter with their arms wide open.
The Laguna Beach star and wife Ashley Wahler welcomed their third baby on May 8, a boy named August Robert Wahler who joins older siblings Delilah, 7, and Wyatt, 3.
"Jason, the kids and I are doing great and so excited that our family finally feels complete," Ashley told People. "The kids are literally obsessed with their new little brother. Delilah thinks it’s actually her own baby."
"They have truly been the best little helpers," she adds. "I’m so grateful for the incredible care at Williamson Health and my doctor, Heather Rupe, for providing the best experience for delivery."
The couple previously shared Ashley was pregnant with baby No. 3 in October alongside sweet family photos. In one photo, the couple—who married in 2013—embraced as Ashley held the sonogram towards the camera, while another showed them displaying the sonogram alongside daughter Delilah Ray, 7, and son Wyatt Ragle, 3.
Alongside the pics, the expectant mom wrote, “Party of 5 coming soon!!!!!”
In the years since his reality TV days—which included a stint on The Hills alongside then-girlfriend Lauren Conrad—Jason has continued to share updates on his life, including his battle with addiction. After first getting sober in 2010 with the help of Dr. Drew Pinsky, the 37-year-old has been candid about the ups and downs of his sobriety, including his relapses, in hopes of helping others.
“The disease of addiction is cunning, baffling and powerful,” Jason wrote in an Instagram post marking National Overdose Awareness Day in 2021. “It is also chronic, progressive and fatal if untreated.”
He continued, “It’s so important that we continue to raise awareness, provide education and smash the stigma that is associated with the disease of addiction and mental health.”
While the reality alum’s life now looks vastly different than it did during his MTV days, the doting dad—who now lives with his family in Nashville—still keeps up with some of his high school pals, including Kristin Cavallari.
“Kristin is somebody we've gotten very close to since we moved to Tennessee,” he told E! News in 2023. “We drifted apart, we were doing our own things. I got lost in my own world and she was busy having a family and kids, but she is somebody that is a dear friend who has been very supportive in this process."
