This newsroom never fails to deliver.
After an explosive first two seasons, The Morning Show is returning for a third this fall—and it promises to be just as compelling in the newly-released teaser trailer for the AppleTV+ series.
To start, Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) and Alex (Jennifer Aniston) are seen standing side-by-side in the trailer as Bradley seemingly reflects on her career.
"You know, we were supposed to change things, weren't we?" she's heard saying in the trailer. "I wanted to make a difference."
But it sounds like Alex is focused on her own trajectory as she contemplates where she stands with the network, noting, "I need to have a say in the future of this place."
And that's not all since we get quick glimpses of the cast of characters including Cory (Billy Crudup) and newcomer Jon Hamm, who plays Paul Marks, "a corporate titan who sets his sights on UBA," the streamer notes, "pulling Cory, Alex and Bradley into his powerful orbit."
However, it's that Alex isn't willing to be pulled in without a fight, with her, declaring, "Honestly, let all the secrets come out."
And she's not the only one set on having everything out in the open as Cory notes that it's "time to smash and shatter," adding, "Let's burn it all down."
As far as the twists and turns go for the upcoming season, "the future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA," the show's synopsis reads. "Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom."
The Morning Show season three will rise on AppleTV+ on September 13, 2023.
