Once upon a time in Italy...
Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were separately photographed leaving Casa Cipriani Milano on Feb. 24 in Milan. But while the pair have sparked romance rumors over the past few months, a source tells E! News the Italian outing "was not a date."
"They were in the same location at a party together," the source continued. "It was a dinner with 20 other people."
For the occasion, Gigi, 27, sported a denim, button-up shirt paired with black gloves and black boots. As for Leo, 48, he stepped out in jeans, a black jacket and a baseball cap.
The group get together amid Milan Fashion Week comes five months after Gigi and Leo were first photographed hanging out together in September at Casa Cipriani during New York Fashion Week, per the Daily Mail. The outlet reported that they were photographed at the time standing close together while chatting during the event.
But that wouldn't be the last time the duo would be spotted at the same place.
That same month, Gigi—who shares 2-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik—was photographed returning to her hotel, the Royal Monceau, during Paris Fashion Week. That same night, Leo was also spotted leaving the same hotel.
More recently, the supermodel and Titanic actor were seen leaving the same Manhattan restaurant on Nov. 18. At the time, an eyewitness said that Gigi and Leo "left within minutes of each other" with Gigi leaving first, followed by the Oscar winner and his friend Vivi Nevo.
But despite growing speculation, the duo have yet to publicly address their relationship. However, a separate source shared with E! News where the pair stood as of October.
"Gigi and Leo are having a lot of fun right now. They have been trying to stay low-key and private and she has been enjoying the time they have been spending together," the source noted. "Gigi is grateful he came into her life during this time and has said it's exactly what she needed. Leo is very laidback and she likes that their relationship is casual and easy. It's going well so far."
