Stephen "tWitch" Boss' memory lives on.

On Feb. 5, the late dancer-turned-DJ was honored during the televised in memoriam segment at the 2023 Grammys. While Quavo and gospel choir Maverick City Music performed on stage, a black-and-white photo of Stephen—who died by suicide on Dec. 13 at the age of 40—was shown on a screen alongside his name.

His mother, Connie Boss Alexander, posted a screenshot of the tribute shortly after it aired, writing on her Instagram Story, "It will never seem real."

"I miss you!" she added. "I love you to infinity and beyond. Keep shining bright for us!"

Other stars honored during the telecast included late country singer Loretta LynnFleetwood Mac's Christine McVie and Migos member Takeoff

Previously, Connie paid tribute to her son with a touching Instagram post. Sharing photos of the So You Think You Can Dance alum throughout the years, the matriarch wrote on Jan. 7, "There are no words adequate. There are no words expansive enough to describe the height of my love nor the depth of the loss of my first born."

She continued, "I am so grateful God granted me the blessing and privilege of being his mother and bringing him into this world and sharing in the journey that was his life in this earthly realm."

Calling Stephen her "beautiful baby boy," Connie added, "The essence of your light and love resides in your family and we will do all we can to epitomize your spirit every single day. As we ended each conversation, I say as always, I LOVE YOU! Sleep in power darling. I move forward knowing without a doubt, we will be together again."

In addition to his mother, Stephen is survived by wife Allison Holker and kids Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.

In the wake of his death, Allison remembered her late husband as "the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into," she said in a statement to E! News at the time. "He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him."

Allison added, "To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory."
