Margaret Josephs is weighing in on Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's bitter family feud.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars have been at odds since Melissa and husband Joe Gorga skipped Teresa's August 2022 wedding to Luis "Louie" Ruelas. But as Margaret sees it, the Gorgas had a perfectly understandable reason for forgoing the nuptials.
"I know what happened at the season finale and I think it's very unfortunate," Margaret exclusively told E! News of their season 13 falling out. "I know why Melissa and Joe were very upset and I think it was devastating. It's very sad when this happens with families and I think Melissa and Joe are justified, truthfully, for not going to the wedding."
"I think everybody's going to see why," the Bravo star added. "I think it makes sense and it's sad."
While Margaret wouldn't spoil the exact reason for the Giudice-Gorga fight, she did say she thinks what Teresa brought up on camera this season was "very hurtful" to Joe and Melissa.
As the RHONJ trailer teased, co-star Jennifer Aydin brings up a cheating accusation about Melissa on an upcoming episode.
Margaret, who revealed Jennifer's husband Bill Aydin's past affair last season, said of the allegation, "I think it shows her level of hypocrisy of that I said something that was actually true, and if she was so devastated, it hurt her children, and then the following season she brings up something that's nothing even based on anything valid. She doesn't think about anybody's kids but her own. I think it's distasteful and speaks about a lot of who she is."
When asked if she thinks Teresa had a hand in spreading the cheating rumor, the Bravolebrity replied, "I think not on camera."
The Melissa drama side, Margaret revealed she and Teresa "got along pretty well during the season." Teresa even invites Margaret over for lunch on the season premiere to settle their differences after a contentious season 12 reunion last year.
"I was shocked because after I had left the reunion I said there was really no hope for us, that I could be cordial to her. I thought our relationship was really severed for good," she admitted. "I was surprised that right out of the gate she wanted to meet with me and make up. I wanted to make sure it was sincere. I said it would be baby steps and she assured me it was sincere. I thought we had some good heart to hearts, but right now I don't think it's as good. I think she vacillates very easily and I'm not like that."
