Martha Stewart Shares Her Beauty Secrets as She Showcases "Unfiltered" Selfies

Martha Stewart shared several Instagram photos of her glowing skin and made it clear that she was au naturel, writing, "Absolutely no re-imaging!!!"

Martha Stewart is loving the skin she's in.

The lifestyle expert acted as her own hype woman after she posted sexy selfies of herself to highlight her glowing complexion. While sitting in a salon chair with her hair wet and lathered up with products, Martha told her 1.7 million Instagram followers she simply couldn't pass up a noteworthy beauty moment.

"Lying in the shampoo area of @FredericFekkai the light was perfect for a new selfie!!!" she captioned her Jan. 29 message, alongside an extreme close-up of her face. "Absolutely no re-imaging!!! Skin looking good after a mostly dry January and pilates @bedfordpilates every other day."

Martha then clarified that when she referred to "re-imaging," she "meant no filtering my selfie!"

In a separate post, the 81-year-old shared more outtakes of her look to further prove that she wasn't altering her photos

"My expression was better in the first one but my skin looks great in all of them," she wrote. "Un filtered. No face lift."

Martha Stewart Through the Years

The cookbook author credited her glam squad for helping her achieve her great skin, including dermatologists Dr. Daniel Belkin and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali. She also praised the facials she's been receiving from Mario Badescu Skincare "for the last forty years!"


Martha's skincare secrets come a few days after she detailed the importance of prioritizing her health and wellness.

"It's about being aware of things around you and leading a good healthy life," she told Yahoo Life for its Unapologetically series on Jan. 24. "A healthy lifestyle is very very important to me. Healthy eating is very important. Having a healthy existence and working — I don't ever think about retiring, that's something that's sort of foreign to me."

She also shared that she's consistent with her workouts, adding, "And, going to Pilates at 6:30 in the morning, which I did this morning. I try to go to Pilates as many times a week as I possibly can."
