Adele Saying "Hello" to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the 2023 Grammys Is Enough to Set Our Hearts on Fire

Rumor has it Adele stole the show at the 2023 Grammys.

The "Hello" singer turned the 65th annual award show into a dazzling night thanks to her rare public appearance. For the occasion, Adele stunned in a custom Louis Vuitton gown that was styled by Jamie Mizrahi. (See more Grammys fashion here.)

And although Adele missed the red carpet outside the Crpyto.Com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 5, the singer received a front-row seat to Trevor Noah's monologue.

"Tonight my job is just to be the host, the best host I can be," he said. "And to do that, I try and learn what everybody's into. I try and know my guests. I know that Adele loves tea. Her Vegas show is phenomenal. And this is one of the strangest things I found out. The person that Adele has always wanted to meet but never have is Dwayne Johnson."

Adele, are you ready to say hello?

"Then I found out that he's a huge fan of yours, too," Trevor told Adele. "And I don't have Dwayne Johnson here tonight, but I do have someone called The Rock." And just like that, the pair was able to meet for the first time.

"All right, you two get acquainted," Trevor said as Adele smiled from ear to ear. "We're going to keep the show moving."

Cameras proceeded to roll as Adele waited to see if she was a winner in a few major categories. Adele—who has already picked up 15 Grammys in her career so far—is up for seven nominations at the 65th annual Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for her studio album, 30. The 34-year-old also received nods for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for hit single "Easy on Me," as well as a nomination for Best Music Film for Adele One Night Only.

One important person also at the show was Adele's boyfriend Rich Paul. Since going public with their relationship in July 2021, Rich has been a steadfast supporter of the superstar. He's accompanied her to various concerts at her Las Vegas tour residency, Weekends With Adele, at Caesar's Palace, where Adele also doesn't shy away from sending her love to Rich.

For his 41st birthday, Adele—who shares son Angelo with ex husband Simon Koneckicelebrated the occasion onstage.

"It's my boyfriend's birthday today, and I love him more than life itself," she said in a video posted to Twitter by @adelesdarling Dec. 16. "Can we wish him happy birthday?"

Though the pair no plans to tie the knot just yet, with Adele denying engagement rumors last summer, the "Love is a Game" singer feels like she's already won.

"I've never been in love like this," Adele told Elle in August. "I'm obsessed with him. I'm just in loooove! I'm happy as I'll ever be. I might as well be married."
