Kevin Jonas is only human.
The Jonas Brothers musician recently looked back at his proposal to wife Danielle Jonas back in 2009 and admitted that when he popped the question, it didn't go as seamless as he had hoped.
"I couldn't get the ring out of my pocket in my jacket," Kevin told hosts Ryan Seacrest during the Jan. 17 episode of On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "It was really bad!"
But it's worth noting Kevin wasn't the only Jonas brother that had his nerves take over. Kevin's brothers Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas were also present, with Joe reflecting on his own proposal to Sophie Turner.
"I was probably more nervous to ask her dad than to ask her," Joe, who married Sophie in June 2019, admitted. "It just all mumbles up. You throw it out there and hope the response is good. You look back on it and you're like, 'What did I say?'"
As for Nick, he had the help of a little liquid courage by his side when it came down to getting one one knee for Priyanka Chopra.
"I wanted to propose the day after her birthday," he said of the actress, who was born in July. "So, her birthday was on the 18th and proposal on the 19th, but I just did it at basically midnight to make it two separate days. At that point, we had had a bottle of wine so it's all a little loose. I was feeling good."
While the trio have all found their lovebugs, it was Kevin who the first to ask his partner to be his wife when he was in his early 20s.
Reflecting on their union at a young age, the musician previously revealed that the choice was simple to make after knowing he had met the one.
"So many people have said that to us, like, 'You're so young, why the rush to get married?'" he told PR.com in 2012, "but honestly, from the minute we met to the minute we got married, we wanted to do things our way."
