David Foster is remembering a legend.

Days after Lisa Marie Presley's passing, the Grammy-winning producer recalled a fond memory of working with Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley's daughter.

"I have crossed paths with her," he told E! News at the Live at the Music Center: Concert Celebrating Jerry Moss in Los Angeles on Jan. 14. "I produced a record with her and her father, maybe 15 years ago or so. It was a great experience."

And her memory will live on. "I read someone said, 'We loved her laugh' and it reminded me that, yes, her laugh was so infectious. It's incredible," Foster continued. "You know, she was an amazing person and I loved being around her. She was very charismatic, and she had a lot to say and a lot to tell and she lived a big life. I never knew her dad but of course they shared mannerisms."

Lisa Marie's passing came two days after she and Priscilla had attended the 2023 Golden Globes, where they saw Austin Butler win the Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama award for his portrayal of her late father in Elvis.

"Thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me," the actor told the Presley family during his acceptance speech. "Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever."

Lisa Marie will be buried next to her son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide at the age of 27 in 2020, at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn., a rep for her 33-year-old daughter Riley Keough previously confirmed to E! News. In addition to being mom to Benjamin and Riley, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband Danny Keough, Lisa Marie shared 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

The rep also noted that a public memorial service for Lisa Marie will be held on the front lawn of the Graceland Mansion, the estate where Elvis is also buried, on Jan. 22, adding that "Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love honoring their beloved Lisa Marie."
