"I have an amazing husband, who's a very calm person," she shared in the cover story for Cosmopolitan published Oct. 31. "Just the best. And my family."
Lindsay added, "And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That's the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones."
The actress will take all the support she can get as she is set to star in her first major role in years with the Netflix holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas—which premieres Nov. 10. Additionally, she will also be appearing in the streaming platform's new movie Irish Wish.
And while the Freaky Friday star has chosen to keep details about her relationship with Bader private, she has kept fans up to date on some of the couple's huge milestones on social media, including their November 2021 engagement.
"My love. My life. My family. My future," she captioned the Nov. 28 Instagram post, which featured pictures of the couple and her stunning diamond ring. "@bader.shammas #love [ring emoji]."
Bader got the stamp of approval from his fiancée's family, as her mom, Dina Lohan, shared one of the photos to her Instagram Story July 2, writing, "My heart is full #engaged #newbeginnings."
Eight months later, Lindsay's rep confirmed to E! News that the pair tied the knot, just hours before she celebrated her 36th birthday July 2.
That day, the Parent Trap actress shared a tribute to her new husband on social media.
"I am the luckiest woman in the world," she captioned the Instagram post. "You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday."
