Charlie Puth has a warning to concertgoers: He can see you!
After saying goodbye to giant amphitheaters and hello to intimate venues for the One Night Only tour, the 30-year-old singer is proud of creating a show that allows fans to connect from left and right.
"Since it's such a short run," Charlie shared with E! News in an exclusive interview, "it's a perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with the people who have been so supportive of me from the very beginning. You don't really get to do that with 10,000 people."
Now, he can feel and experience the crowd's energy in a whole new way.
"I can see everybody's reactions and faces when I'm doing the Beacon Theater in New York City for example," he said. "The internet is cool, but being in front of real life humans is a lot cooler."
Those audience members are being treated to his classic hits like "One Call Away" and "We Don't Talk Anymore." But perhaps it's the music from his latest album Charlie that deserves the most attention.
"We're celebrating the release of my most important work to me," he said. "I'm not going to be able to play this size of shows for much longer. I'm really just taking in these 12 important shows and I'm looking forward to getting back on the road next year and connecting with fans on an even bigger scale."
