Kourtney Kardashian can't get enough of her big, blended family.
After marrying Travis Barker in not one but three wedding ceremonies this year, The Kardashians star officially became a stepmom and expanded her crew in a whole new way. Now, as the newlywed phase continues, Kourtney appears more than happy with how everything turned out.
"There's so much newness to the dynamic," Kourtney exclusively shared with E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes, "but it's all just amazing."
One huge perk is the bond Kourtney's kids have developed with Travis' children. One relationship in particular that has grabbed the attention of the fashion designer is Penelope Disick, 9, feeling like she has an older sister in Alabama Barker, 16.
"She loves it," Kourtney shared. "They love each other so much." In fact, one thing the pair has in common is a love for fashion.
Before launching her boohoo collection at New York Fashion Week, Kourtney recalled Alabama visiting her house to borrow some outfits.
"She came over and we went through my closet before coming to New York," Kourtney revealed. "She definitely borrowed a bunch of clothes."
As for Penelope, Kourtney says it's hard to predict what exactly she will want to wear. But in this relationship, Mom isn't going to force her daughter to wear anything she doesn't want to.
"She's ever changing, but she's very specific," Kourtney explained. "She's surprises me. She wanted to come here with me to Fashion Week and she was like, ‘What are my looks gonna be?' I love when she can be creative and have her opinion and pick out her own stuff and I also love to let the perfectionism go when I can and just allow them to pick their own stuff and do it how they love."
Perhaps Alabama and Penelope will be stealing looks from Kourtney's new collection. During New York Fashion Week on Sept. 13, Kourtney debuted her boohoo by Kourtney Kardashian collection on boohoo.com.
Described by boohoo as a collaboration to discover more about sustainability and style, Kourtney said she thought carefully about her designs and styles before launching on the runway.
"The first thing you think about with fast fashion is how it's bad for the planet and so I felt like why not use this opportunity and take my platform and try to push the fast fashion brands to try to make change," she said. "I said to boohoo, 'How cool would it be if you guys make all these changes and then everyone would feel like they want to get their clothes here because nothing else compares?' I think getting to that place would be really cool."
