Watch: Andy Cohen Welcomes Baby No. 2

Andy Cohen is a father of two!

The Watch What Happens Live star took to Instagram on April 29 to announce the arrival of his second child, a baby girl, who he welcomed via surrogate.

"HERE'S LUCY!!!!!," Andy wrote. "Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She's 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!"

Her name seems to pay homage to Andy's parents, Lou and Evelyn Cohen.

Lucy joins Andy's son Benjamin Cohen, 3, who was born via surrogate in February 2019. And how does Benjamin feel about the family's latest addition? As Andy revealed on Instagram, "Her big brother can't wait to meet her!"

Andy went on to thank the surrogate who carried Lucy.

"Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen," he noted. "I'm so happy."

Meet Andy Cohen's Kids Benjamin and Lucy

Back in August 2021, Andy gave E! News an exclusive update on his plans to expand his family.

"You know, I'm working on it," Andy teased during E! News' Daily Pop. "It turns out it takes a long time to make a baby. I'm definitely open to it and I would love to see it happen soon."

Now with his new bundle of joy, it seems "soon" has officially arrived.

Fans and friends of the Bravo star took to the comment section to celebrate the news. Anderson Cooper wrote, "Amazing! Congratulations! Welcome Lucy!!!!" And John Mayer also chimed in, writing, "Hello sweet girl! congrats Andy!"

Khloe Kardashian added, "Congratulations!!!!! How wonderful and blessed is your family!!! May God bless you all!!"

Prior to Lucy's arrival, Andy opened up about how becoming a father changed "everything" for him.

"It's amazing," Andy said of Benjamin's arrival during a June 2019 episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers. "He's a little lovebug."

The TV personality has also called Benjamin's birth an "incredible" experience.

"He wasn't crying," he recalled on Today in 2019. "His eyes were open, and we just stared at each other for about two hours, just looking at each other, and he was touching my face….it was just incredible, and I was hoping he was going to have a little hair on his head, and the kid's already over delivering."

Andy went on to acknowledge that while it wasn't an easy ride, he was overjoyed to become a dad.

"It's not that easy for a single guy to do this on his own," he said at the time. "It takes a village, as they say so I really wanted him, and the fact that he's here and he's so perfect and he's in wonderful health and I have great gratitude for my surrogate and all the people who helped me get to this place and I'm just thrilled."
