The Wanted and More Honor Tom Parker After Singer's Death

Members of The Wanted, Lawson and Union J have all taken to social media to remember singer Tom Parker after his passing. Read their words below.

Members of The WantedLawson, Union J and more are remembering the "positive, inspiring energy" of Tom Parker after his passing.  

The singer, who was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma in October 2020, died on March 30 surrounded by family and bandmates just weeks after completing the group's reunion tour. The 33-year-old is survived by his wife, Kelsey, and their two children Aurelia and Bodhi.  

His bandmates—Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuinessNathan Sykes and Max George—confirmed the news in a poignant statement on The Wanted's Instagram account.  

"Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates," they wrote. "Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can't express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts." 

In his own personal Instagram post, Siva shared his love for his "brother" Tom.

"Hey Tom, hope you're having a blast up there," he wrote. "I am so grateful that I had a chance to witness your true courage. It has been a pleasure of my life Tommy Boy. Thank you for letting us see you light up the world. Talk to you soon and see you later. Love you brother x."

The band's announcement was quickly followed by an outpouring of love from fellow musicians, celebrities and fans alike who had come to know the star over his illustrious career. Read their responses below.
