The wedding ceremony was held outside at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Fla. The couple got engaged in the beachside community in January 2020.

E! News conducted an email interview with the couple's wedding planner, Nicole Kaney of NK Productions, who detailed the duo's wedding ceremony.

"The ceremony was so beautiful, starting with the setting at the CadZan Mansion over looking the Sarasota Bay," she gushed. "Bastille NYC stunned with a statement floral arch structure full of flowers for the bride and groom to stand under while they were married by Quincy ‘JR' Carmichael. To showcase the arts and their love for theater, Caila surprised Nick and guests with a singing flash mob during the ceremony singing 'Can't Take My Eyes Off of You.'"

She also shared details of the "breathtaking" reception, where guests enjoyed cocktails in the Ringling Courtyard.

"Guest were then invited down to the reception tables for dinner," she continued. "Dinner tables were topped with elegance. Ivory table linen, gold rimmed table chargers and either a runner of flowers or a centerpiece with candles throughout."

The wedding wasn't always set to be held in Florida. The pair postponed their nuptials twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, with a weddings planned in Italy.

"Since Caila's original vision was for Italy, she had an idea in mind which was then shifted for the new venue at the CadZan Mansion & Ringling Courtyard. The Ringling has Italian influences so Caila's vision translated beautifully," Nicole explained. "Caila was with us every step of the way in the planning process. When she came to NK Weddings for the planning she did have her core vendors in place from the original date for Italy, which included Bastille NYC, Stephanie Sunderland Photography, Moon & Back Co. Videography and Michelle Elise Artistry for hair and makeup. Nick was wonderful and such a great, supportive groom. The vendors did a beautiful job working at the amazing Ringling Museum. It's an incredible location!"

For Caila, the most important thing was that everyone could finally be together.

"We haven't gathered in so long, and a lot of my loved ones have been, you know, very safe, and haven't even left their own house in over a year," Caila explained to Us Weekly. "I appreciate the one time that they're going somewhere is for me and my fiancé and to see us finally say, 'I do.' It just means so much that this is the moment that people chose to travel."

Feeling a sense of peace for how perfectly effortless, easy, memorable, and meaningful the day was. Love to every single person that was a part of it, especially my new husband! I love you @nickburrello."
