James Corden's latest business idea even has the perfect name.
On the April 21 episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the talk-show host asked his bandmates an interesting yet mind-boggling question: If given the chance, whose celebrity-owned chain of hotels would you want to stay at?
This prompted his drummer, Guillermo, to respond with the absolute perfect answer: Oprah Winfrey.
Guillermo's answer drew a considerable reaction since Oprah, who does not have her hands in the hospitality business, is pretty much synonymous with any venture considered luxurious. So, the answer is simply nothing short of a magical idea!
And, to top off the genius plan, musician Reggie Watts chimed in with the idea of calling the brilliant hotel enterprise, O-tel.
James was so audibly impressed that he felt he had no choice, but to try to immediately reach out to Oprah directly—and to everyone's chagrin, she was amusingly receptive!
After a hilarious back-and-forth debate on whether he actually has Oprah's current number, James eventually decides to give the number he finds a shot. Although she doesn't pick up right away, when he does call back and receives an answer from Lady O herself, his reaction is simply priceless.
"I'm calling because we think we've had an idea that could make you billions of dollars," he said, to which Oprah then gave a hearty chuckle. "And we think it's so good we couldn't wait to tell you," he continued.
The Super Soul Sunday host jokingly responded to the idea with glee, "Absolutely! Absolutely!"
As dreamy as this new business idea sounds, the Emmy-award winning host seems to be quite busy juggling the many endeavors she's taken on over the years, with the latest reportedly being the launch of a new brand in conjunction with global media company, Hearst.
Until then, we'll keep our fingers crossed for a future stay at Hotel O-tel.
