A girl once read in a magazine that the thirties are the best years of your life—and Christa Allen is about to find out

That's because this November, the actress, who rose to fame playing the teenage version of Jennifer Garner's character in 13 Going on 30, is going to turn 30 herself. As the beloved rom-com approaches its 17th birthday, Allen has found a brand new spotlight on TikTok, where the star has amassed more than 1 million followers and nearly 26 million likes to her content.

The best part? She has not forgotten her 13 Going on 30 roots. In fact, she often pokes fun at her first movie role. Even her TikTok bio reads, "Jenna Rink has TikTok??!!!" However, it was one of her most recent posts that has definitely gotten some attention.

"People be like—weren't you the 13 year old in 13 Going on 30?'" she asks in the video. "Yup and I'm almost 30 now. Feel old yet?"

Jennifer Garner's Best Roles

More than 19,000 comments have since rolled in, including a devoted fan who was wondering if she is indeed feeling flirty and thriving. "Flirty and surviving!!" Allen quipped back in a comment.

Some TikTok users also could not get over her actually resembling Garner in real life. As one viewer quipped in a comment, "Never expected her to grow up looking just like jen."

Then there were those that felt their own aging as a result. "First of all," a comment read, "how dare you remind us we almost in our 30s."

While Allen's TikTok account has become an entertaining mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle content with a sense of humor, it's her nods to the timeless film that continue to stand out.

On March 3, the Revenge alum posted a video about her favorite throwback song to play at a party that everyone will know. The tune? "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, of course. If you've seen the movie, no explanation needed. And if you haven't, well, it's time.
