Alan Kim has multiple wins to be excited about.
In the clip shot from Kim's home, he stood in front of the television at the time of the announcement and screamed when the film was announced.
Besides the major win, the young actor also told host Jimmy Kimmel that he recently earned his purple belt in taekwondo.
"I took a test last Wednesday and, like, I upgraded," he explained. When Kimmel asked if he coule beat him in a fight, Kim said with a laugh, "I guess so."
And if that wasn't enough excitement from the youngster, Kim also recalled receiving sweet gifts from the Tooth Fairy. "The first I lost my tooth, it was around $5 and then it became $10…$20??" he explained. "And then $2 and then I can't remember."
Kimmel joked, "Wow, it really crashed on the stock market…It's like your teeth are like GameStop." However, Kim went on to reveal that the Tooth Fairy hasn't visited him because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"I had like two teeth popped out here and the Tooth Fairy didn't come sadly because of quarantine," said Kim, to which Kimmel agreed, "Oh yeah, The Tooth Fairy is quarantine also."
However, Kim adorably pointed out, "Even though the humans are quarantined doesn't mean the fairies have to be quarantined."
Towards the end of the interview, the rising star also shared how many times he's watched Minari.
"I watched it, like, eight times now," he said with a laugh. "I like it, but I already know what's going to happen since I watched it, like, eight times now."
