Is Taylor Swift preparing to drop more music?

While the superstar singer has already released two hit albums—folklore and evermore—in the last six months, a new tweet from her BFF Todrick Hall has fans raising eyebrows. Early Thursday, Jan. 28, the "Y.A.S." artist took to his social media to share a "theory" about his longtime pal that involves her sleep schedule, music, boyfriend Joe Alwyn and their cats.

"I have this theory that Taylor doesn't sleep," Todrick wrote, "like I legit believe she stays up all night, drops musical genius while everyone's sleeping and then sits by the fire with her cats and Joe giggling while the world tries to figure out what just happened."

Though this is likely just a fun theory, many social media users think it's a possible hint that something is coming from T.Swift. As fans of the Grammy winner may know, she likes to drop Easter eggs before unveiling a new project. So, after seeing Todrick's tweet, one Swiftie replied, "I feel like you know something. Spill the tea bestie."

One fan also wrote to Todrick, "WHAT DO YOU KNOW OMG." While another social media user asked, "why would u tweet that out of nowhere omg tell us what you know."

However, Todrick clarified that he doesn't "know anything" and he simply tweeted his message after seeing a post from Taylor online.

"I don't know anything, I just saw her post tonight and started thinking of what she might be whipping up in her bop kitchen...I'm just as excited as everyone else in the world," he wrote. "Re-fell in love with 'Delicate' yesterday, that song gives me butterflies. K, goodnight!"

The post Todrick is referring to is T.Swift's new chapter of songs, entitled "forever is the sweetest con," which is a collection of tracks from her albums folklore and evermore. The 30-year-old artist shared this new chapter shortly before Todrick's tweet.

And while there had been theories about Taylor dropping more new music in the near future, she recently told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that she felt content after evermore's Dec. 2020 release, calling it a "quiet conclusion."
